Jesus Christ healed all who came to Him (Luke 6:19). Jesus Christ also said, “It’s the sick who have the need of a physician,” (Matthew 9:12)
Sick people matter to S.J.S Congregation. This is because sick people matter to God.
As a Congregation, S.J.S sisters have been called on to serve the society in providing for preventive as well curative health care.
Healthcare in modern times has become very expensive even for the well off. The poor and needy are always in a grossly disadvantaged position when they need healthcare. S.J.S sisters help these both in terms of administering healthcare directly to them as far as possible, and/or pay for their medical treatment.
