SJS has helped many rural families to undertake animal husbandry for their self-sustenance.
Through its animal husbandry program, needy villagers are provided cows, bulls, goats, poultry birds etc. Most of these are provided to them free of cost, the only catch being that they have to make available one or two progeny of these animals back to SJS Congregation so that these can then be given to more people on similar terms.
